It’s so obvious who I am going to talk about today. The group who literally brought the popularity to YG

A wise person once said, “when people from outside were jamming to Psy’s Gangnam Style, we(K-pop fans) we’re jamming to this song”

Yes, we are talking about the kings of K-pop!!

BIGBANG

I realised as I started thinking about what to write about them, that I would never find enough space to finish all the stuff I want to tell you. So here’s me (trying very hard to refrain myself and) giving you an outline to this group you ought to listen to at least once in your lifetime.

They are Bigbang and they are 5 in number. With G. Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, desang, and Seungri they make the most impressive group to ever exist. Created by yg, they were well known than YG itself. From 2006 to 2018, they rocked the world producing record-breaking hits and chart breaking albums. I’ve never seen an ordinary bigbang song. Ordinary doesn’t exist in their dictionaries, they are always, always a little extra. Just some examples of the benchmark that is Bigbang are their first hit single “lies”
And their recent but not so recent single “Bang bang bang” and every other that was released between and after these 2 songs.

They became one of the world’s most selling boy groups after beating the Backstreet Boys. They have got too many awards for me to mention one by one. But here’s an example of the swag they possess and the fans (V.I.Ps) trying so hard to handle their extraness. During MAMA(Mnet music awards) Bigbang went ahead to diss the award show just to end up getting most of the award…. Why??, because they can!!

The members have mind-blowing solo careers that they are often named as one of the most popular solo artists. In 2018 the members of Bigbang enlisted in the mandatory military service one by one and were discharged in 2019.

This leads to the fans awaiting their comeback but the recent events of a member(Seungri) leaving the entertainment industry altogether due to a sex scandal and another member T.O.P being charged in a drug scandal and his attempted suicide put the VIPs in an unbearable situation and the fans are at least hoping for the remaining members to group to produce more hits as BigBang. This post brings me both happiness and sadness as the members are out from their military service and are up and running to make some sort of comeback in the entertainment industry but Seungri will never be a part of the group and no one knows what’s gonna happen with T.O.P.

Here’s a chance for the fans to go through the history of big bang and hope for the best.
