I’ve never been so excited to write a post on an 80’s music artist. Today we have the most handsome, dreamy, and talented artist of all time. Yes, this man deserves this hype! ❤ (drumroll please). George Michael!!. Before I begin I must say that George is mainly a pop artist but his R&B is what that got him this far and swayed the minds of millions of people across the world.

Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou was born in the year 1963 in London. He formed the duo Wham!with Andrew Ridgeley made two albums -fantastic and make it big, it reached number one in the UK charts. He then started focusing on his solo career and he released his first ever single- careless whisper and it blew up (in a good way). It was a massive success. His singles- faith, father figure( my favorite!!!❤❤), one more try, monkey were all a great success and topped the charts all the time. Michael portrayed, vulnerability, obscene and the rawest human desires in his musical videos, his performance and his lyrics. Though most people felt it was too much, a lot of people back then found it extremely appealing, which paved way for Michael’s huge success.

Michael was one of the few people who spoke openly about bisexuality back in the 80s . Though widely branded as “the ladies man”, Michael was open towards his feelings/attraction towards men. Michael was in a long term relationship with Kenny Goss, a cheerleader coach, he bought multiple houses but broke up with him due to negative publicity. In 2012 he entered into relationship with Fadi Fawas a celebrity hairstylist. Michael died due to fatty liver in 2016,and Fawas was the won who found Michael’s body.
