This amazing person debuted as the main vocalist of a very popular hardcore rock band sinawe and continued his career as a rock singer till the early 90s. He debuted again with his solo album in 1991 and continued to establish a career as a balladeer.

He took a break from the K-pop scene from 2005 due to an accident and returned back significantly in 2011 when he performed in a Korean reality show ‘I am a singer’. He had his second breakthrough when he was placed No.1 in the show twice and fans of all generations felt the deep emotion in his voice. This without a doubt added on to his popularity.

He has also lent his voice to various super hit OSTs and he is considered as one the legends who developed the essence of K-pop
