FREDDIE HUBBARD

Frederick Dwayne Hubbard popularly known as Freddie Hubbard was a Jazz trumpeter. While researching for the blog, I read about his life and it was truly inspiring ✨. This man never gave up on music , though life held circumstances against his will. He was one of the “most influential jazz musicians” of all time, his music explains why.

Freddie was born in 1938 in the state of Indiana. His passion towards music began when he was in high school. He was a trumpeter in his high school band, and he has been receiving appreciation ever since. His career took off to a steady start. He married Briggie Hubbard, but for some reason he wished to keep his personal life extremely private. He never revealed her identity or made any public appearances with her.

He had a severe lip injury which caused an infection which was a major setback for him. This legendary musician had his own feature film- Freddie Hubbard- one of a kind. His famous works include – lonely town, little sunflower, first light and yesterday’s dream( my favorite😍❤) . He was part of 2 bands namely- The jazz messengers & VSOP. He died in 2009 due to heart attack.
